Compact Business Desktop

The HP EliteDesk 800 G5-SFF is a small-form-factor business desktop powered by an Intel Core i7-9700 3.00 GHz 8-core processor with 12 MB L3 cache. It ships with 32 GB DDR4 memory and a 1 TB M.2 NVMe SSD running Windows 11 Pro 64-bit. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 drives up to two DisplayPort 1.2 monitors for office productivity.

Simple SFF Installation

The chassis measures 3.94" x 13.31" x 12.13" and weighs 13.51 lbs, so it fits on a shelf or behind a monitor with minimal cabling. Front I/O includes one USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C, two USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A and two USB 2.0 ports plus two audio jacks. Rear I/O adds two USB 2.0, two USB 3.1 Gen 2, two USB 3.1 Gen 1 and a single RJ45 port. Low-profile expansion cards are the only option; full-height cards will not fit.

Verify Your Peripherals

Confirm your displays use DisplayPort 1.2 or bring an active adapter for HDMI or VGA. The integrated graphics share system memory, so the 32 GB DDR4 is the total pool available. No optical drive is present; plan for USB installation media or network deployment. Buyers who need discrete graphics, additional internal storage bays or full-height expansion slots should consider a larger form factor.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the Intel Core i7-9700 and 1 TB NVMe SSD are recognised after first boot?

Open Windows 11 Pro Settings > System > About to confirm the 8-core i7-9700 at 3.00 GHz and 32 GB DDR4, then check Disk Management to see the 1 TB NVMe drive listed with the OS partition.

What accessories are included in the box and what must I supply myself?

The refurbished EliteDesk 800 G5-SFF arrives with the 3.94" x 13.31" x 12.13" chassis, power cord and Windows 11 Pro licence; you must provide a monitor via the two DisplayPort 1.2 outputs, keyboard, mouse and any USB Type-C or Type-A peripherals.

Which configuration should I choose if I need more graphics performance than the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630?

This specific MPN J1-800G5SA08 is a single fixed build with the i7-9700, 32 GB DDR4, 1 TB NVMe and Intel UHD 630; for discrete graphics you would need a different EliteDesk 800 G5-SFF model that includes a dedicated GPU.
