Additional input capacity

This paper feeder and cabinet base adds a single 550-sheet tray to compatible LaserJet Enterprise and Managed MFP devices. It is designed for medium or large businesses that need extra input capacity and dedicated storage space for paper or supplies. The unit installs beneath the printer to expand total media capacity.

Buyers needing multiple trays

The feeder provides only one additional tray, so environments that require several paper types or higher total capacity should consider other configurations. It supports the LaserJet Enterprise MFP M633 and LaserJet Managed MFP E62555, and is not intended for printers outside that compatibility list.

Questions about this item

How is the J8J91A 550-sheet feeder and cabinet installed on the LaserJet Enterprise MFP M633?

Place the cabinet on a level surface, lower the MFP onto the alignment pins, then secure the four latch screws accessible through the front door; the install guide warns not to lift the MFP by its control panel.

What maintenance will the 550-sheet tray in the J8J91A need later?

The tray uses a pickup roller and separation pad that wear with use; when misfeeds increase, order the HP roller kit for this feeder and replace both parts following the service guide.
