HP NE1-21999 EliteDesk 800 G3 Mini i5-7500T 16GB 512GB business desktop

Compact Business Mini PC

The HP EliteDesk 800 G3 Mini packs an Intel Core i5-7500T quad-core processor running at 2.70 GHz with 6 MB L3 cache into a 6.90 x 1.30 x 7.00 inch chassis weighing 2.90 lbs. It ships with 16 GB DDR4 memory and a 512 GB SSD running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 630 handles display output for office productivity and multi-monitor setups.

Display and Connectivity Limits

Graphics run through two DisplayPort connectors on the rear panel with no legacy VGA or HDMI ports provided. Four rear USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports and a single RJ45 network jack handle peripherals and wired LAN. The front adds one USB 3.1 Type-C charging port, two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports (one charging) and a headphone jack. Wireless LAN is included but no optical drive bay exists.

Build and Daily Implications

The mini form factor uses an internal power supply so no external brick clutters the desk. Mounting options let it attach behind a monitor or under a surface saving space in tight workstations. Front-facing USB Type-C and charging ports keep cables accessible for phones or accessories. The sealed compact chassis limits internal expansion to the factory-fitted storage and memory. Buyers who need discrete graphics cards or additional drive bays cannot use this platform.
