Business laptop for mobile professionals

The HP EliteBook 840 G3 is a refurbished 14.0-inch notebook built for office work and travel. It runs Windows 10 on an Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor at 2.6 GHz with 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 1000 GB SSD. The non-touch FHD display shows 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Suits users needing a light work machine without

This model fits buyers who want a thin, light chassis at 18.9 mm with essential ports such as VGA, DisplayPort, RJ-45, USB and USB-C for docking. It is not for buyers who require an integrated camera, an optical drive or a touchscreen for their daily workflow.

Sustained load on integrated graphics

Under continuous workloads the integrated graphics and dual-core processor share thermal limits in the slim body. The SSD keeps data access steady while the 16 GB DDR4 buffer handles multitasking, but long renders or heavy compute tasks will hit the ceiling of the integrated card and two cores.
