Questions about this item

Does the Core Ultra 7 356H throttle under long gaming sessions?

The 16-core CPU runs at a 1.9 GHz base frequency and can reach 4.7 GHz max turbo; sustained clocks depend on the laptop's cooling capacity.

How loud or hot does the laptop get during all-day use?

The OMEN chassis uses dual fans and heat pipes to manage the 356H and RTX 5060; surface temperatures and fan noise rise with load but stay within typical gaming-laptop ranges.

What must I already own to use the 165 Hz WUXGA panel externally?

The USB-C port supports DisplayPort 1.4, so any monitor with DP 1.4 or HDMI 2.1 can run 1920 x 1200 at 165 Hz.
