Product identity

The HP OMEN 16 Slim is a 16-inch gaming laptop built around the Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processor with 16 cores and a 5.40 GHz turbo frequency. It pairs 64 GB of DDR5 memory with a 1 TB PCIe SSD and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU. The 16:10 WQXGA display runs at 2560 x 1600 resolution and a 240 Hz refresh rate.

Target fit

This machine suits users who want high frame rates at 2560 x 1600 in a chassis measuring 14.07 in x 10.59 in x 0.89 in with a Shadow Black finish. Buyers needing a larger screen, a higher GPU tier, or a display above 240 Hz should evaluate other models.

Deciding specification

The 240 Hz WQXGA panel is the single spec that determines suitability; it delivers 500 nits brightness and 100 sRGB coverage for competitive gaming and colour-accurate creative work. If your workflow demands a different refresh rate or resolution, this laptop will not match those requirements.
