17.3" FHD 144 Hz display

The OMEN 17 is a 17.3-inch gaming laptop with a 1920 x 1080 screen running at 144 Hz. It is powered by an AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 10-core processor with a 5.0 GHz boost and 24 MB cache. Graphics come from an NVIDIA RTX 5060 with 8 GB GDDR7 memory. The system includes 16 GB DDR5 4800 RAM and a 2 TB PCIe SSD, all running Windows 11 Home.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This machine suits gamers who want a large, high-refresh display and strong single-thread performance from a 10-core CPU. The 16 GB memory and 2 TB drive handle current titles and multitasking. Buyers needing a touchscreen, an SD card reader or a fingerprint reader should consider other models. The 6.51 kg weight also makes it less suited for frequent travel.

RTX 5060 8 GB GDDR7 graphics

The discrete RTX 5060 with 8 GB GDDR7 is the specification that defines gaming capability. It drives the 144 Hz panel at native resolution in modern titles. The 16 GB DDR5 4800 memory is soldered and not upgradeable, so the GPU and memory combination is fixed for the life of the device.
