31.5″ QD-OLED Gaming Monitor

The HP Omen 32 Transcend is a 31.5 inch QD-OLED display built for competitive gaming at 4K resolution. It targets players who need a 240 Hz refresh rate and a 0.03 ms response time. The panel delivers a 1500:1 contrast ratio and 250 nits brightness.

Interface Limits

The monitor uses DisplayPort, HDMI and USB Type-C connections to drive 3840 x 2160 at 240 Hz. Bandwidth of the installed ports caps the maximum refresh rate at this resolution. HDR10 content is supported, but sustained full-screen brightness stays at 250 nits. Adaptive sync operates within the FreeSync Premium Pro range.

0.03 ms Response Time

A 0.03 ms grey-to-grey transition eliminates visible ghosting in fast motion. This single figure decides whether the panel keeps up with 240 Hz gameplay. Buyers who need higher sustained brightness for HDR highlights should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Which Omen 32 Transcend version should I pick for 4K 240 Hz gaming?

The single model 9R181AA-N delivers 3840 x 2160 at 240 Hz on a 31.5" QD-OLED panel with 0.03 ms response and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.

What does the 240 Hz refresh rate actually give me in games?

It lets the display update up to 240 times per second, so motion stays sharp and input lag stays low when your GPU can push high frame rates at 4K.

Which video inputs does the monitor use and what resolution and refresh rate can they handle?

DisplayPort, HDMI and USB Type-C are provided; the panel itself runs at 3840 x 2160 and 240 Hz with HDR10 support.
