Refurbished 31.5" 4K 144Hz gaming monitor

This refurbished HP OMEN 32x delivers a 31.5 inch IPS panel at 3840 x 2160 resolution with a 144 Hz refresh rate. It targets competitive gamers and creative users who want high pixel density and fast motion handling in a single display. The 1 ms grey-to-grey response time with overdrive supports quick transitions during fast-paced scenes.

Built-in audio and ergonomic adjustments

Four integrated speakers rated at 3 W each provide stereo sound without external hardware, while HP Eye Ease reduces blue-light output for longer sessions. The stand offers height and tilt adjustment so users can set a comfortable viewing position, and the 100 x 100 mm VESA pattern allows mounting on an arm or wall bracket.

Connectivity limited to DisplayPort HDMI

Video inputs comprise DisplayPort, HDMI and USB Type-C with no Thunderbolt support, so laptops requiring Thunderbolt video or power delivery cannot use that single-cable workflow. The 400 cd/m² peak brightness and 1000:1 contrast ratio meet VESA DisplayHDR 400 but do not reach the higher luminance or local-dimming levels needed for deeper HDR highlights.

Questions about this item

Will the 4 x 3 W speakers or the HP Eye Ease backlight need any maintenance down the line?

The 4 x 3 W speakers and the HP Eye Ease backlight have no user-serviceable parts; if audio quality or eye-comfort performance changes, external speakers or a monitor hood are the practical options.

What limit appears first when the 31.5" 4K 144 Hz IPS panel runs at full refresh for hours?

The 1000:1 contrast ratio and 400 cd/m² brightness are fixed hardware limits; extended sessions will not push beyond those figures, so perceived grey blacks and capped HDR highlights appear first.

How much heat or fan noise does the 31.5" 4K 144 Hz monitor produce during all-day use?

The unit has no active cooling; heat dissipates passively through the cabinet, so it runs silently and surface temperature stays low under continuous 144 Hz operation.
