45L Gaming Desktop with Core Ultra 9 285K

This HP OMEN 45L GT22-3000i desktop pairs a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. It ships with 64 GB of Kingston FURY DDR5-5600 memory and a 2 TB PCIe Gen 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD. The system targets enthusiasts who want high frame rates at 4K resolution and fast throughput for creative workloads.

850 W 80 Plus Gold ATX power envelope

The included 850 W power supply sets the practical ceiling for sustained GPU and CPU draw. Components that would push total system power beyond this rating cannot be added without replacing the unit. The ATX form factor means a standard replacement fits, but the 80 Plus Gold efficiency rating is fixed by the installed hardware.

Tool-less 45L chassis with front I/O

The 45-litre case uses a tool-less side panel for quick access to the four populated DDR5 slots and the single M.2 drive. Front-panel connectivity includes a headphone/microphone combo jack and three additional audio ports. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 are integrated via the Realtek RTL8852BE card, while wired networking is limited to 1 Gbps Ethernet.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 64 GB DDR5-5600 configuration or look for a different capacity?

The system ships with 64 GB of DDR5-5600 memory in four 16 GB modules, filling the standard consumer slots and leaving no empty DIMM sockets for easy expansion.

What does the Core Ultra 9 285K 3.2 GHz up to 5.70 GHz spec actually deliver in this chassis?

The 24-core, 24-thread processor runs at a 3.2 GHz base clock and can boost to 5.70 GHz when thermals and power headroom allow, backed by a 36 MB cache and the 850 W 80 Plus Gold supply.

How fast is the 2 TB PCIe Gen 4.0 x4 NVMe drive over the M.2 interface?

The Gen 4.0 x4 link caps sequential throughput at the PCIe 4.0 lane limit, so the installed SSD will hit its rated speeds without interface bottleneck.
