HP OmniBook 3 16 laptop

This HP OmniBook 3 16 laptop is a 16.0 inch touchscreen device running Windows 11 Pro. It suits students and office workers who need a portable machine for web browsing, document editing and video calls. The AMD Ryzen 5 40 processor with four cores and eight threads reaches 4.3 GHz. Integrated AMD Radeon 610M graphics handle basic visual tasks. Buyers who want discrete graphics for gaming or heavy rendering should look elsewhere.

Bundled connectivity and storage

The system includes 8GB DDR5 memory and a 256GB NVMe SSD for the operating system and files. Wireless options cover Wifi7 and Bluetooth 7 alongside Bluetooth 5.0. Ports comprise two USB-C 3.1, two USB-A 3.0, one HDMI 2.1 and a headphone/microphone combo jack. A 720p HD webcam supports video conferencing. Users who need more internal storage or additional USB-A ports will need external solutions.

Installation and common issues

The laptop arrives with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed and a 45W power supply in the box. Initial setup follows the standard Windows out-of-box experience. The non-backlit keyboard may be difficult to use in low-light environments. Some users report that the 8GB DDR5 memory cannot be upgraded later, so multitasking headroom is fixed at purchase. The 4.43lb weight and 0.65 inch profile affect portability for daily commutes.
