Product identity and audience

The HP OmniBook 5 16 is a 16.0 inch WUXGA touchscreen laptop powered by an Intel Core Ultra 5 225U 12-core processor with Intel Graphics. It ships with 16GB DDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe SSD running Windows 11 Home. The silver chassis includes a backlit keyboard, webcam and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity.

Who this suits and who it does not

This device suits people who want a large touch display and integrated graphics for everyday productivity, media consumption and light creative work. Buyers who need discrete graphics for gaming or heavy rendering should look elsewhere. The 16GB memory is soldered, so users who require upgradeable RAM cannot expand it later.

Deciding specification

The 16.0 inch 1920 x 1200 60Hz IPS touchscreen is the single specification that determines fit. Its 16:10 aspect ratio and touch input benefit multitasking and pen use, while the 60Hz refresh rate limits high-motion clarity. Confirm this display matches your workflow before purchasing.
