16-inch 2-in-1 convertible for AI workloads

This HP OmniBook 7 is a 16-inch convertible laptop built on the Intel Evo platform. It targets professionals and creators who need a flexible x360 hinge for laptop, stand, tent and tablet modes. The system ships with Windows 11 Home and an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor.

Included pen and factory-upgraded memory

A rechargeable USB-C pen is bundled for inking directly on the OLED touchscreen. The original factory seal is opened so the shop can install 32 GB of LPDDR5X-8533 MT/s memory and a 2 TB PCIe NVMe SSD before resealing the box. No further user upgrades are possible because the memory is soldered.

47 TOPS NPU decides AI readiness

The built-in Intel AI Boost NPU delivers up to 47 TOPS, which is the single figure that determines whether this device qualifies as a Copilot+ PC for on-device AI features. Buyers who need more than 32 GB of memory or a discrete graphics card should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Can the 32 GB LPDDR5X memory be upgraded later?

The memory is soldered to the board and limited to the installed 32 GB, so it cannot be expanded after purchase.

What limits sustained performance on the Intel Core Ultra 7 258V first?

The 68 Wh battery and thin 0.61 inch chassis constrain thermal headroom, so power throttling appears before the 4.8 GHz boost can be held continuously.

How loud and hot does the laptop get during all-day workloads?

Fan noise stays low in typical office use; the OLED panel runs at 400 nits and the 68 Wh battery keeps surface temperatures moderate during extended sessions.
