AI-ready laptop for professionals

The HP OmniBook X 17-dd0057nr combines an Intel Core Ultra 7 256V processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU to handle AI-enhanced workflows, content creation and multitasking. Its 17.3-inch FHD multitouch IPS display covers 100% sRGB at 400 nits. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro and a backlit keyboard.

16 GB LPDDR5x memory and 1 TB SSD capacity

Unified 16 GB LPDDR5x-8533 MT/s RAM provides fast bandwidth for integrated and discrete graphics workloads but cannot be expanded after purchase. The 1 TB PCIe NVMe SSD offers quick boot and load times; the platform supports up to 2 TB if more local storage becomes necessary.

Thunderbolt 4 and USB 10 Gbps connectivity

One Thunderbolt 4 port delivers 40 Gbps signaling with USB Power Delivery 3.1 and DisplayPort 2.1 for high-speed docks and external GPUs. Three USB Type-A and one USB Type-C port operate at 10 Gbps. HDMI 2.1 drives a single external display. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 handle wireless links.

Questions about this item

Will the Thunderbolt 4 port at 40Gbps signaling rate drive my older USB-C dock that only supports USB 3.2 Gen 2?

Yes — the Thunderbolt 4 port is backward compatible with USB 3.2 Gen 2 docks and will negotiate the highest speed both ends support.

How can I confirm the RTX 4050 is using its 6 GB GDDR6 memory instead of shared system RAM?

Open Task Manager, select the GPU tab, and verify Dedicated GPU Memory shows 6 GB while Shared GPU Memory remains low during a 3D workload.

Does the box include the 100-watt AC adapter or must I buy a charger separately?

The 100-watt AC adapter ships in the box; no separate charger purchase is required.
