Product identity

This HP OmniStudio X 32 all-in-one integrates a 31.5 inch 4K IPS display with an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor, 16 GB DDR5 memory and a 4 TB NVMe SSD. It suits home or office users who want a single Meteor Silver unit that includes a wireless keyboard and mouse.

Connectivity limits

The system provides one HDMI 2.1 input, one HDMI 1.4 output, one USB-C 20 Gbps port with DisplayPort 1.4 in and out, one USB-C 10 Gbps port, four USB-A 10 Gbps ports, 2.5 Gbps Ethernet, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. The HDMI 1.4 output cannot drive 4K at high refresh rates, and the single 20 Gbps USB-C port is the only route for high-speed external displays or docks.

Installation notes

The all-in-one arrives assembled; setup consists of placing the unit, connecting power and pairing the wireless keyboard and mouse. The BGA 2049 processor and soldered memory cannot be upgraded later, and the 280 W internal power supply limits the graphics performance to the integrated Intel Arc solution.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 16GB DDR5 model or look for a higher capacity?

The system ships with 16GB DDR5-5600 memory soldered to the board, so the capacity cannot be upgraded after purchase.

What does the 4.8 GHz turbo figure mean for everyday workloads?

The Core Ultra 7 155H can reach 4.8 GHz on its performance cores for short bursts, speeding up single-threaded tasks like app launches and light compiles.

How fast is the USB Type-C 20Gbps port in real use?

The port runs at USB 20Gbps signalling rate and carries DisplayPort 1.4, so external SSDs hit near 20Gbps while driving a 4K display simultaneously.
