Refurbished EliteBook 840 G1 for business users

This HP EliteBook 840 G1 is a refurbished 14.0 inch laptop powered by a dual-core Intel Core i5-4300U processor at 1.90 GHz. It comes with 8 GB of memory and a 240 GB SSD running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 4400 drives a 1600 x 900 non-touch display.

Check power adapter and port needs before ordering

Verify that the included AC adapter matches your regional mains voltage and plug type. Confirm that the available VGA, DisplayPort, RJ-45 and USB ports suit your existing monitors, wired network and peripherals. The fingerprint reader requires Windows Hello enrolment on first boot.

Sustained load behaviour with integrated graphics

Under continuous workloads the shared video memory draws from the 8 GB system RAM, so heavy multitasking may reduce graphics headroom. The dual-core Haswell CPU and passive cooling design will throttle clock speeds during extended compile or render sessions. Expect stable office throughput but limited 3D stamina.
