HP Poly CS520 XD Wireless DECT Headset

The HP Poly CS520 XD is a binaural wireless DECT headset built for professional voice communication. It delivers stereo sound with on-ear cups and active noise-cancelling microphone technology. SoundGuard technology protects the wearer against sudden loud spikes. A 351 ft wireless range lets users move freely around the office.

Upgrading from Wired or Basic Wireless Models

This headset replaces tethered desk phones or entry-level wireless sets that limit movement to a few metres. The 351 ft DECT range and extra-density deployment capability make the jump worthwhile for open-plan floors where many units operate simultaneously. TAA compliance also satisfies government procurement rules that older models may not meet.

Suited to High-Density Office Teams

The CS520 XD fits call-centre agents, hybrid workers and government buyers who need secure, scalable wireless audio. It is not for users who require Bluetooth pairing with mobile phones or PCs without a DECT base station. Buyers wanting a single-ear wearing style or a convertible headband should look at a different model.

Questions about this item

Does the CS520 XD headband adjust to fit different head sizes?

The over-the-head binaural design uses an adjustable headband with padded ear cups so it fits a wide range of head sizes without extra parts.

What is the pairing step that users often miss when setting up the DECT base?

After connecting the base to the desk phone or PC, press the subscription button on the base then the headset call-control button until the LED turns solid.

Which parts of the CS520 XD typically need replacement after extended daily use?

Ear cushions and the headband pad are the main wear items; both are user-replaceable and available as spare accessories.
