Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This unit suits professionals needing a portable Windows 11 Pro machine with a full HD non-touch display and a full port selection including USB-C, HDMI 1.4, RJ-45 Ethernet and an SD card reader. Buyers who need a touchscreen, discrete graphics or more than 256 GB of internal storage should consider other options.

The specification that decides fit

The 256 GB NVMe SSD capacity is the critical figure; it determines whether the laptop can hold your operating system, applications and active files without requiring immediate external or internal expansion.

Questions about this item

Does the Intel Core i5-1135G7 run loud or get hot during long work sessions?

The quad-core 2.4 GHz chip shares a thin-and-light chassis weighing 3.81 lbs, so sustained loads will spin the fan but the 15.6 inch frame gives it room to move air.

What must I already own to use the single USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port for video or charging?

You need a USB-C hub or cable that carries DisplayPort Alt Mode or USB Power Delivery; the port itself is data-only at 5 Gbps.

Will the HDMI 1.4 output drive my older 1920 x 1080 monitor without an adapter?

Yes, the full-size HDMI 1.4 port connects directly to a 1080p screen using a standard cable.
