Refurbished business laptop for office work

This HP ProBook 650 G9 is a refurbished unit graded A for excellent cosmetic condition. It ships with Windows 11 Pro 64-bit installed and targets professionals who need a reliable 15.6-inch machine for everyday productivity tasks. The Intel Core i5-1250P processor provides twelve cores for multitasking across office applications.

Ports and connectivity included

The chassis provides one USB4 Type-C port, three USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports with one supporting charging, an HDMI 2.0b output, a Gigabit RJ-45 Ethernet jack and a combined headphone/microphone socket. A 720p webcam is integrated above the non-touch display. No optical drive is fitted.

256 GB NVMe SSD limits local storage

The single 256 GB NVMe drive holds the operating system and a modest working set of files. Users who keep large media libraries, multiple virtual machines or extensive project archives will need external or cloud storage to supplement the internal capacity.

Questions about this item

Will the 16 GB DDR4 memory or the 256 GB NVMe SSD need replacement during the laptop's lifespan?

The 16 GB DDR4 is soldered and cannot be upgraded, while the 256 GB NVMe occupies the single M.2 slot; storage can be swapped for a larger drive later.

What limits sustained performance of the Intel Core i5-1250P 12-core processor during long workloads?

The 15.6" chassis relies on a single fan; under continuous multi-threaded load the 12-core CPU hits thermal limits and reduces clocks to stay within its power envelope.

How loud is the fan and how hot does the keyboard area get when the laptop runs all day?

The cooling system spins up noticeably during extended heavy use; the silver deck above the keyboard becomes warm to the touch after several hours.
