Compact Business Mini PC

The HP ProDesk 600 G4-MINI is a new mini desktop built around an Intel Core i5-8500T six-core processor running at 2.10 GHz. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed and the system includes integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630.

Office Teams and Space-Constrained Desks

This configuration suits offices that need a small, quiet PC for standard productivity, web apps and video calls. Buyers who want more storage, a discrete graphics card or user-upgradeable expansion slots should look at larger form factors.

256 GB NVMe Boot Drive

The single specification that decides fit is the 256 GB NVMe solid-state drive. It provides fast Windows 11 Pro boot times and application loading, but capacity is limited for large local data sets or media libraries.

Questions about this item

Does the Intel Core i5-8500T 2.10 GHz 6-core processor limit the speed of the 256 GB NVMe SSD in this ProDesk 600 G4-MINI?

The i5-8500T provides 9 MB L3 cache and six cores at 2.10 GHz, which is sufficient for the 256 GB NVMe SSD to reach its rated sequential read and write speeds in Windows 11 Pro.

What mounting hardware does the HP ProDesk 600 G4-MINI chassis require for a VESA installation?

The Mini PC form factor accepts the HP VESA mount bracket that secures to the rear of a monitor using the standard four-hole pattern.

Which BIOS setting must be enabled before Windows 11 Pro will boot from the 256 GB NVMe SSD on this 600 G4-MINI?

Secure Boot and UEFI boot mode must be active in BIOS; the NVMe drive will then appear as a UEFI boot option for the Windows 11 Pro installation.
