Compact desktop with RGB lighting
The HP ProDesk 600G2/800G2 is a slim-form-factor PC built around an Intel Core i5-6500 processor running at 3.2 GHz with a turbo frequency up to 3.60 GHz. It ships with 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB solid-state drive, and Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed. A remote-controlled RGB front panel, a wireless USB Wi-Fi adapter, and an RGB gaming keyboard and mouse are included in the package.
Setup and common issues
The small chassis fits on a desk with minimal space, and the bundled peripherals connect through standard USB ports for immediate use. Integrated graphics handle the video output, so no separate graphics card is required for basic operation. The compact internal layout can restrict airflow and limits future upgrades such as additional storage drives or a discrete GPU. Buyers should verify that their monitor provides a compatible video input before purchase.
Who this suits and who should look elsewhere
This system suits home-office users, students, or casual gamers who want a ready-to-use desktop with a distinctive light show and included accessories. It is not ideal for buyers who need more storage capacity, builders who require a standard ATX motherboard layout, or anyone planning to install a dedicated graphics card for modern gaming workloads.
