Dual Xeon E5-2630v3 2U Server

This 2U rack server ships with two eight-core Intel Xeon E5-2630v3 processors running at 2.4GHz. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 ECC registered memory are installed across 24 DIMM slots. Two 1TB 7.2K SAS drives and an H240ar controller provide RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. Dual 500W hot-swap power supplies deliver redundancy.

Check rack depth and power before ordering

The chassis occupies 2U of rack height and uses 2.5-inch drive bays. Verify that your rack can accommodate the physical depth and that your PDU or UPS provides the required IEC connections for two supplies. Confirm that your workload can operate within the 16GB memory ceiling unless you plan to add DDR4 modules up to the 3TB maximum. Ensure the operating environment meets the thermal needs of dual 2.4GHz CPUs.

Fits standard 2U racks with room to grow

Eight SFF bays support SAS or SATA drives; the H240ar handles 12Gb SAS and 6Gb SATA. Optional universal media bay, NVMe bay or additional SFF cages can be added to the second and third bay positions. The Matrox G200eH2 graphics provide basic video output for management. Redundant power frees a UPS outlet for another device. No operating system is included.
