Tower server with Xeon E-2124, 16GB DDR4, four 3.5-inch SATA drives totalling 16TB and iLO 5 remote management
This HP ProLiant ML30 Gen10 tower server is built for small businesses and remote offices needing a dedicated on-premise platform. It ships with an Intel Xeon E-2124 quad-core processor running at 3.3GHz with 8MB cache and 16GB of DDR4-2666 unbuffered memory. The bundle includes 16TB of storage across four 4TB 7.2K SATA 3.5-inch hard drives and a 16GB USB flash drive for data transfer. Assembly is required for the memory and drives.
A single non-redundant power supply delivers power to the Xeon E-2124 and four 3.5-inch SATA drives in a tower chassis designed for office environments. The 7.2K RPM hard drives and system fans generate audible noise typical of a departmental server under normal load. Power draw scales with the 3.3GHz quad-core CPU and the four spinning drives during typical file and application serving tasks.
HP Integrated Lights Out 5 Standard provides remote firmware-level management, allowing administrators to monitor health, update firmware and control power state over the network without an operating system. The embedded HP Smart Array S100i Gen10 controller enables RAID configuration across the four included SATA drives for data redundancy. Dual-port 1Gb Ethernet and a DVD-ROM drive complete the baseline connectivity and media options.

Power off the tower, open the side panel, slide each 3.5-inch drive into a free bay and secure it, then press the two 8GB DDR4 modules into the DIMM slots until the latches click; finally connect the SATA data and power cables to the Smart Array S100i Gen10 controller.
The four 7.2K RPM SATA hard drives are mechanical and typically wear out before the solid-state memory, processor or single power supply, so plan to swap drives as they age.
The single power supply and the 1Gb dual-port Ethernet adapter become bottlenecks before the quad-core CPU reaches its thermal ceiling during sustained workloads.
