Professional ultrawide workspace

The HP Series 7 Pro 39.7" curved monitor delivers a 5120 x 2160 WUHD IPS panel in a 21:9 aspect ratio. Its 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles and 16.7 million colours suit creative professionals and multitaskers who need expansive screen real estate. The 1000:1 contrast ratio and 300 cd/m² brightness provide clear visuals for office and design work.

Replaces dual-monitor setups

This single display substitutes side-by-side panels by offering equivalent horizontal pixel width without a centre bezel. The jump is worthwhile when workflows span wide timelines, large spreadsheets or multiple application windows that benefit from uninterrupted curvature. Users tied to higher refresh rates or HDR certification will not find those features here.

5K2K resolution headroom

The 5120 x 2160 resolution comfortably handles 4K video timelines, wide code editors and multi-window productivity at 60 Hz. It runs out for competitive gaming that demands faster response than 5 ms GtG or adaptive-sync support. Thunderbolt connectivity simplifies single-cable docking for compatible laptops.

Yes, the 100 x 100 mm VESA mount is compatible with standard arms rated for the monitor's size and weight.

Which video cable should I use first to get the 5120 x 2160 resolution at 60 Hz?

Connect Thunderbolt or DisplayPort first; both carry the full 5K2K signal at 60 Hz without extra setup.
