HP t740 Thin Client for Edge Computing

The HP t740 is a compact thin client built around an AMD Ryzen V1756B processor running at 3.25 GHz with 8 GB of DDR4L memory and 32 GB of flash storage. It ships with a USB keyboard and mouse and runs HP Smart Zero OS out of the box. Integrated AMD Radeon Vega 8 graphics handle display output via DisplayPort and USB-C.

Suits VDI and Digital Signage Deployments

This unit fits environments that need a small, fanless endpoint for virtual desktop infrastructure or fixed-function kiosk workloads. It is not suited for users who require local application performance, discrete graphics acceleration, or the ability to upgrade system memory or storage beyond the soldered configuration.

90 W Maximum Power Supply Rating

The 90 W power adapter defines the thermal and electrical envelope for the entire platform. It limits the sustained CPU and graphics performance available for compute-intensive edge tasks and determines the AC input headroom required at 120 V or 230 V operation.
