Central Hub for Workstation Notebooks
The HP Thunderbolt G4 Dock delivers 280W of power to charge most workstation notebooks while driving up to four 4K displays at 3840 x 2160 resolution. It combines Thunderbolt 4 connectivity with HDMI, dual DisplayPorts, five USB ports, USB Type-C and an RJ-45 network port. HP Sure Start firmware protection guards against unauthorised access. A bundled Bluetooth Mini U speaker adds wireless audio with a built-in microphone.
Four-Display Headroom and Power Limits
The dock comfortably handles four 4K monitors simultaneously through its video outputs and supplies up to 280W for host charging. It runs out of headroom when a notebook demands more than 280W or when a fifth display is required. The RJ-45 port provides doubled Ethernet throughput for large transfers, while the five USB ports and single USB Type-C port set the ceiling for peripheral count.
Compact Speaker Completes the Desk Setup
The Mini U speaker measures 45.45 x 33 mm (1.75 x 1.3 in) and weighs 400 mAh battery capacity for up to four hours of playback. It pairs instantly over Bluetooth with the host PC or phone, freeing the desk from cables. The dock itself requires a Thunderbolt 4 host port and an AC outlet for its 280W supply, while the speaker charges via Micro USB.

The box contains the dock with its combo cable, the Mini U Speaker, and a Micro USB charging cord; a USB power adapter for the speaker is not included.
