Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

The Core i5-12450H and GTX 1650 combination handles 1080p gaming at medium settings and everyday multitasking with 8 GB of DDR4 memory. Buyers who want higher frame rates in modern titles or need more than 512 GB of storage out of the box should consider other configurations.

512 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD

A 512 GB solid-state drive uses the PCIe NVMe M.2 interface for fast boot and load times. The laptop supports upgrades up to 2 TB if additional capacity is required later.

Questions about this item

What size M.2 slot does the 512 GB SSD occupy?

The 512 GB drive uses a standard M.2 2280 slot that supports PCIe NVMe signalling.

Which screw secures the bottom cover during RAM or SSD upgrades?

Remove the nine perimeter Phillips screws, then lift the cover from the front edge; the hidden screw under the rear rubber foot is the one most people miss.

When will the 8 GB DDR4 memory need to be expanded?

The board supports up to 32 GB DDR4; add a second module when multitasking or newer titles exceed the factory 8 GB.
