HP Victus 15-fa1300nr gaming laptop

The HP Victus 15-fa1300nr is a 15.6 inch gaming laptop built around a 12th Generation Intel Core i5-12450H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 graphics card. It ships with 8 GB of memory and a 512 GB solid state drive. The 144 Hz Full HD display and OMEN Gaming Hub software target buyers who want a ready-to-play portable system.

Suits 1080p gamers on a budget not creators

This configuration suits players who mainly run competitive shooters or esports titles at 1080p resolution and value the 144 Hz panel. Buyers who need more than 8 GB of memory for heavy multitasking, content creation or professional colour-critical work should look at a different model because the installed capacity is fixed at 8 GB.

144 Hz Full HD panel is the deciding spec

The 15.6 inch screen runs at 1920 x 1080 resolution with a 144 Hz refresh rate and anti-glare coating. If your games benefit from high frame rates on a fast panel this laptop matches that need. If you require a higher resolution, a touchscreen or a different refresh rate the display specification makes this unit the wrong choice.
