HP Victus 15 FA2701 Gaming Laptop

This 15.6 inch laptop combines an Intel Core i5-13420H processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU. It targets gamers and creators who need 144 Hz refresh rates and 32 GB of DDR4 memory in a portable Windows 11 Home system. The 1 TB PCIe M.2 SSD provides fast storage for games and projects.

Ready-to-use portable system

The laptop arrives fully assembled with Windows 11 Home installed and drivers configured. No internal installation is required; simply power on and complete the standard setup wizard. Potential issues include initial Windows updates taking time and the 62.5 % sRGB panel limiting colour-critical work.

6 GB GDDR6 video memory

The RTX 4050 Laptop GPU includes 6 GB of GDDR6 video memory, which determines the texture resolution and frame-buffer capacity available in modern titles. Buyers who need more VRAM for 4 K gaming or heavy GPU compute workloads should consider a different configuration.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 144 Hz panel is running at full refresh rate after Windows 11 setup?

Open Settings > System > Display > Advanced display and verify the refresh rate dropdown shows 144 Hz for the built-in 15.6" FHD IPS screen.

What ships in the box and what must I purchase separately for the FA2701?

The laptop, power adapter and documentation are included; the 32 GB DDR4-3200 RAM and 1 TB PCIe M.2 SSD are already installed, so no memory or storage upgrades are required.

Which configuration should I choose if I need the 8-core i5-13420H with RTX 4050 6 GB graphics?

This FA2701 model ships with the i5-13420H (2.1 GHz base, 4.6 GHz turbo), RTX 4050 6 GB GDDR6, 32 GB RAM and 1 TB SSD — the only version matching that spec.
