HP Victus 15 gaming laptop

The HP Victus 15 is a 15.6 inch gaming laptop built around an Intel Core i5-12450H processor with 8 cores and a 4.4 GHz turbo frequency. It includes 64GB of DDR5 memory and a 4TB PCIe SSD for fast storage. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 with 4GB GDDR6 handles graphics duties. It ships with Windows 11 Pro installed.

144Hz FHD display limits

The 15.6 inch screen runs at 1920 x 1080 resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate for smoother motion in games. The HDMI 2.1 port can drive an external monitor at higher refresh rates when needed. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 provide wireless connectivity. The wired RJ45 Ethernet port offers a stable alternative for competitive play.

Upgrade access and common issues

The chassis measures 14.09 x 10.04 x 0.93 inches and weighs 5.06 lbs, so internal access requires removing the bottom panel. The factory seal is opened by engineers for the memory and storage upgrades before shipment. Buyers should verify the upgraded components are recognised in the BIOS and that the backlit keyboard and SD card reader function correctly after the service.
