Blue 15.6-inch 144Hz gaming laptop

The HP Victus 15 combines a 15.6-inch 144Hz FHD anti-glare display with an Intel Core i5-12450H 8-core processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 4GB GDDR6 graphics. It ships with 64GB DDR4 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD running Windows 11 Home and Office 2021. The blue chassis includes HDMI 2.1, USB Type-A and Type-C at 5Gbps, RJ-45, and an SD card reader.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This configuration suits buyers who want a factory-upgraded machine with high memory and storage headroom for multitasking and large game libraries. The 144Hz panel benefits competitive shooters and fast-paced titles. Buyers needing a higher-tier GPU for ray-traced AAA games at ultra settings or a display above 1080p should consider other models.

Capacity and headroom

The 64GB DDR4 and 2TB PCIe SSD comfortably handle dozens of modern titles, heavy browser workloads, and creative applications simultaneously. The RTX 3050 4GB GDDR6 runs out of video memory in texture-heavy scenes at 1080p ultra, requiring lower texture settings or resolution scaling for smooth frame rates.

Questions about this item

What display cable do I need to run the 144Hz panel over HDMI 2.1?

A standard HDMI 2.1 cable supports the 1920 x 1080 panel at 144Hz without an adapter.

Will the USB Type-A ports at 5Gbps signaling rate slow down my older USB 2.0 mouse and keyboard?

The 5Gbps ports are backward compatible so legacy USB 2.0 peripherals work at their native speed.

How can I confirm the RTX 3050 4 GB GDDR6 is active after driver installation?

Open Device Manager, expand Display adapters and verify GeForce RTX 3050 appears with 4 GB dedicated video memory.
