Victus 15 gaming laptop 15.6 144Hz

The HP Victus 15 is a 15.6 inch gaming laptop built around a 144 Hz FHD panel. It pairs a 13th Generation Intel Core i5-13420H 8-core processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 6GB GDDR6 graphics card. The system ships with 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD running Windows 11 Home.

13th Gen i5 8-core upgrade path

Moving from a 4-core or 6-core mobile CPU to this 8-core design adds four Efficient-cores alongside four Performance-cores for 12 threads total. The jump is worth it when you run a game while streaming, compiling, or keeping many browser tabs open. The 4.6 GHz turbo frequency helps single-thread bursts in older titles.

RTX 3050 6GB sustained load

Under continuous load the RTX 3050 6GB GDDR6 maintains stable clocks for extended sessions at 1080p. The 144 Hz display lets you see higher frame rates when the cooling system keeps thermals in check. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 stay connected during long multiplayer matches.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions of the 15.6 inch chassis so I can check sleeve fit?

The laptop measures 14.09 x 10.04 x 0.93 inches and weighs 5.06 lbs, so a 15.6 inch sleeve with a little extra depth will accommodate it.

Which screw type secures the bottom cover for the 2TB PCIe SSD upgrade?

The base is held by standard Phillips-head screws; the step people miss is disconnecting the battery cable before lifting the cover to avoid a short.

How often should the 144 Hz display hinges be lubricated under daily lid cycles?

The hinges are sealed and need no lubrication; if they ever stiffen, a technician can apply a light PTFE grease during a fan clean.
