HP Victus 15 with Ryzen 5 7535HS

This 15.6 inch gaming laptop pairs an AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS six-core processor with an AMD Radeon RX 6550M discrete GPU. It ships with 32 GB of DDR5 memory and a 1 TB PCIe SSD running Windows 11 Home and an Office 2021 license. The 144 Hz FHD IPS panel targets smooth 1080p play.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

The 6 core 12 thread CPU at 3.3 GHz base and 4.55 GHz boost handles modern titles and multitasking well. The 6.59 pound chassis with a 0.93 inch profile fits a backpack but is not ultraportable. Buyers needing a lighter device or longer unplugged runtime should consider thinner alternatives.

The spec that decides fit

The AMD Radeon RX 6550M graphics card determines whether this machine meets your performance target. If your games or creative apps run acceptably on this GPU the rest of the configuration supports it. If you need higher frame rates or ray tracing you will need a model with a more powerful GPU.

The 32GB DDR5 memory and 1TB PCIe SSD are the only capacity option listed for this model, giving ample space for games and multitasking without needing an immediate upgrade.

What does the 4.55 GHz boost clock on the Ryzen 5 7535HS mean in daily use?
