15.6-inch 144Hz gaming laptop

The HP Victus 15 Raider pairs a 12-core Intel Core i5-12500H processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU and 16GB DDR5 memory. It runs Windows 11 Home and includes an Office 2024 license. The 15.6-inch FHD panel refreshes at 144Hz for smooth motion in fast-paced titles.

1TB PCIe SSD and 16GB DDR5 capacity

The 1TB PCIe SSD holds a large game library and creative projects with quick load times. 16GB DDR5 handles modern AAA games at high settings and multitasking with streaming or voice chat. Memory is not user-upgradable beyond the factory configuration, so very heavy multitasking or future titles may eventually need more headroom.

Ports and connectivity for a complete setup

Two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one USB Type-C port, HDMI, RJ-45 Ethernet, a combo audio jack and an SD card reader cover peripherals, external displays and wired networking. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth provide wireless freedom. The backlit keyboard and integrated webcam support late-night gaming and video calls without extra accessories.

Questions about this item

Will the USB 3.0 Type-A ports on this Victus 15 Raider run my older mouse and external drive at full speed?

The laptop has two USB 3.0 Type-A ports that are backward compatible with earlier USB devices, so your existing mouse and external drive will work at their rated speeds.

How can I confirm the 144 Hz panel is actually running at 144 Hz after I set up Windows 11?

Open Settings, choose System then Display, click Advanced display and verify the refresh rate dropdown shows 144 Hz for the built-in 15.6" FHD screen.

Does the box include a USB-C hub or HDMI cable for my external monitor, or do I buy those separately?

The package contains the laptop, power adapter and documentation only; any USB-C hub, HDMI cable or SD card must be purchased separately.
