HP Victus 15 Raider Black AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS RX 6550M gaming laptop

15.6-inch 144Hz gaming laptop

The HP Victus 15 Raider Black combines a 15.6-inch FHD display at 144Hz with an AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS six-core processor and AMD Radeon RX 6550M graphics with 4GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with 32GB DDR5, a 1TB PCIe SSD and Windows 11 Pro. The 0.93-inch profile houses a backlit keyboard, numeric keypad and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity.

Entry-level 1080p gaming focus

This configuration suits players targeting 1080p gaming at high refresh rates and students needing a portable workstation with a 6-core CPU and dedicated graphics. The 4GB video memory and 144Hz panel support competitive titles. Buyers requiring higher VRAM for texture-heavy AAA games or professional GPU compute workloads should consider models with 8GB or more video memory.

RX 6550M 4GB GDDR6 decides fit

The AMD Radeon RX 6550M with 4GB GDDR6 is the single specification that determines whether this laptop meets a buyer's performance target. It delivers playable frame rates in mainstream titles at 1920 x 1080 on medium to high settings. If the intended games demand more than 4GB VRAM for chosen quality presets, a different GPU tier is required.
