HP Victus 15 Raider Black Ryzen 5 7535HS RX 6550M gaming laptop

15.6" 144Hz gaming laptop

The HP Victus 15 pairs a 15.6 inch FHD 144Hz display with an AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS 6-core processor and AMD Radeon RX 6550M graphics with 4GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with 16GB DDR5 RAM and a 512GB PCIe SSD running Windows 11 Home. The Raider Black chassis includes a backlit keyboard, numeric keypad, Wi-Fi 6 and a 720p webcam for stream-ready setups.

Open-box upgrade service

The manufacturer seal is opened by engineers to install the specified memory and storage upgrades before shipment. This service adds a one-year warranty on the upgraded components while the original one-year manufacture warranty covers the remaining parts. No user disassembly is required, so the risk of damaged clips or stripped screws during a first-time upgrade is removed.

Sustained-load thermal behaviour

Under extended gaming sessions the 6-core CPU can reach its 4.6 GHz turbo frequency while the dedicated RX 6550M maintains stable frame rates on the 144Hz panel. The 0.93 inch profile and 5.05 pound weight limit the cooling volume, so surface temperatures around the keyboard deck and exhaust vents rise noticeably after 30 to 45 minutes of continuous 1080p workloads. Fan noise becomes audible in quiet rooms during these periods.
