HP Victus 15 Raider gaming laptop

The HP Victus 15 Raider is a 15.6 inch gaming laptop built around a 12 core Intel Core i5 12500H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU with 6 GB video memory. It ships with 64 GB of DDR5 memory and a 4 TB PCIe SSD running Windows 11 Home and Office 2024. The 144 Hz FHD display targets gamers and creators who want high refresh rates in a portable chassis.

Upgrade considerations

This configuration replaces a standard 8 GB or 16 GB DDR5 build and a smaller SSD with 64 GB of memory and 4 TB of PCIe storage. The jump is worth it if you run virtual machines, edit large media timelines or keep many modern titles installed simultaneously. The 12 core CPU and RTX 4050 6 GB GPU remain the same as the base model so raw frame rates do not change.

Compatibility checks

Verify that your external monitors support 1920 x 1080 over HDMI if you plan a multi-screen setup. The laptop provides two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one USB Type-C port, one RJ-45 jack and an SD card reader for peripherals. Confirm that your backpack or sleeve fits the 14.09 x 10.04 x 0.93 inch footprint and 5.06 pound weight before ordering.
