HP Victus 15 Raider gaming laptop

This 15.6 inch machine combines a 12 core Intel Core i5-12500H processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 graphics card. It ships with 64GB of DDR5 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD. Windows 11 Pro and an Office 2024 licence are pre-installed.

144Hz FHD display

The 15.6 inch panel runs at 1920 x 1080 resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate. This specification determines how smoothly motion appears in fast-paced titles and whether the screen can keep up with the GPU output.

Thermals and power draw

The chassis measures 14.09 x 10.04 x 0.93 inches and weighs 5.06 pounds. Under load the 12 core CPU can reach 4.5 GHz turbo while the RTX 4050 draws power within its 6GB video memory envelope. Fan noise rises with sustained gaming but remains typical for a 15 inch gaming design.

Questions about this item

How does the 144Hz refresh rate feel in actual gameplay?

The 15.6" FHD panel redraws the image 144 times every second, so fast motion in shooters or racing titles stays sharp without visible ghosting.

What does the USB Type-C port actually support for video or data?

The single USB Type-C handles data at up to 5 Gbps and can drive an external monitor through its DisplayPort alternate mode.

Will the 14.09 x 10.04 x 0.93 inch chassis fit in a standard 15-inch laptop sleeve?

Yes, those dimensions match a typical 15.6" form factor, so most sleeves labelled for 15-inch devices will accommodate it.
