12th Gen i5-12450H Gaming Laptop

The HP Victus 15 Raider pairs a 12th Gen Intel 8-Core i5-12450H processor with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card. It targets gamers and creators who need a 15.6 inch Full HD 144Hz display for smooth motion. The system runs Windows 11 Home and includes a backlit keyboard for low-light sessions.

32GB DDR4 Memory and 512GB PCIe SSD

The 32GB DDR4 memory provides ample headroom for multitasking, modern titles, and content-creation workloads. The 512GB PCIe SSD offers fast boot and load times, though large game libraries will eventually require external storage. The 8-core CPU reaches 4.4GHz turbo for burst performance.

HDMI 2.1 and USB-C Connectivity

A single HDMI 2.1 port drives external monitors at high refresh rates, while one USB-C and two USB-A ports handle peripherals. RJ-45 Ethernet ensures a stable wired connection for competitive play. The SD card reader and headset jack round out the I/O for streamers and photographers.

Questions about this item

Will the 512 GB drive fit a standard 2.5-inch bay if I want to add a second drive later?

The installed drive uses a PCIe M.2 slot, not a 2.5-inch bay. Check the service manual for any spare 2.5-inch mounting points before buying an additional drive.

Does the HDMI 2.1 port support 4 K at 144 Hz output to an external monitor?

HDMI 2.1 can carry 4 K at 144 Hz, but the GTX 1650 4 GB GPU is the limiting factor; expect lower frame rates at that resolution in modern titles.

Is the 32 GB DDR4 memory soldered or can I upgrade it myself?

The 32 GB DDR4 is installed in two SO-DIMM slots. Both slots are occupied, so any upgrade requires replacing the existing modules rather than adding more.
