HP Victus 15 Raider laptop

The HP Victus 15 Raider laptop combines a 12-core Intel Core i5-12500H processor with 64GB DDR5 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD. An NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU with 6GB video memory drives the 15.6" FHD 144Hz display. Windows 11 Home and Office 2024 License are pre-installed.

Sustained load behaviour

The 12-core CPU runs at a 2.5 GHz base frequency and can reach 4.5 GHz max turbo frequency across 16 threads. The 144Hz panel keeps motion sharp during extended sessions while the RTX 4050 6GB GPU handles modern titles at 1920 x 1080 resolution. Wi-Fi 6 and the RJ-45 port maintain stable network throughput.

Pre-order checks

Verify that the 14.09 x 10.04 x 0.93 inch chassis fits your workspace and that the 5.06 pound weight suits your mobility needs. Confirm the port selection — two USB 3.0 Type-A, one USB Type-C, HDMI, RJ-45, combo audio jack and SD card reader — matches your peripherals. Note the absence of a fingerprint reader and optical drive.

Questions about this item

Will the 15.6 inch 144Hz display run fast enough for competitive shooters?

The 1920 x 1080 panel refreshes at 144Hz, so motion stays sharp in fast-paced games without needing an external monitor.

Can the 64GB DDR5 memory and 2TB PCIe SSD be expanded later if I need more space?

Both slots are already populated at the maximum 64GB and the single 2TB drive fills the only M.2 socket, so further internal upgrades are not possible.

Which ports are available for a wired mouse, headset and external screen?

You get two USB 3.0 Type-A ports for mouse and headset, one USB Type-C, one HDMI for an external display, plus RJ-45, combo audio jack and SD card reader.
