HP Victus 15 Raider Gaming Laptop

The HP Victus 15 Raider is a 15.6-inch gaming laptop built around an Intel Core i5-13420H processor with eight cores and a maximum turbo frequency of 4.6 GHz. It pairs that CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 laptop GPU carrying 6GB of GDDR6 video memory. The system ships with 16GB of DDR5 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD running Windows 11 Home and an Office 2024 licence.

Suits 1080p gamers and creators on a budget.

The 144Hz FHD anti-glare panel and 6GB GPU make this machine a good fit for competitive 1080p gaming, streaming and light content creation. Buyers who need higher refresh rates at 1440p or 4K, or who require a larger colour gamut than 45% NTSC, should look at models with more powerful graphics and wider-gamut displays.

Deciding spec: 6GB RTX 4050 with 144Hz FHD screen

The combination of a 6GB RTX 4050 and a 144Hz 1920 x 1080 display sets the performance ceiling for modern titles at high settings. If your workflow demands more video memory or a faster panel, this configuration will not meet those needs.

Questions about this item

What accessories come in the box and what must I buy separately?

The laptop ships with Windows 11 Home and an Office 2024 licence pre-installed, a power adapter for the coaxial jack, and a full-size backlit keyboard with numpad built in. No external mouse, carrying case or additional storage drives are included.

Should I choose the 16 GB DDR5 and 2 TB PCIe SSD configuration or look for a different capacity?

This model is offered with 16 GB DDR5 memory and a 2 TB PCIe SSD as the single listed configuration, so there is no alternative capacity to select from the product page.

How does the 144 Hz FHD panel and RTX 4050 6 GB GDDR6 perform together in actual games?

The 15.6 inch 1920 x 1080 144 Hz anti-glare display pairs with the RTX 4050 6 GB GDDR6 GPU to deliver smooth frame rates at 1080p in modern titles, while the 12 MB Smart Cache and 4.6 GHz turbo on the i5-13420H keep the CPU from bottlenecking the graphics.
