HP Victus 15 Raider Ryzen 5 7535HS RX 6550M 1TB gaming laptop

Raider series 15.6-inch gaming laptop

The HP Victus 15 Raider is a 15.6-inch gaming laptop powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS processor with 6 cores and 12 threads. It pairs a 144Hz Full HD display with an AMD Radeon RX 6550M graphics card featuring 4GB GDDR6 memory. The system includes 16GB DDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe SSD running Windows 11 Home.

Upgrade from integrated or entry discrete graphics

Moving from integrated graphics or an older entry-level discrete GPU to the RX 6550M adds dedicated 4GB GDDR6 video memory and the 144Hz panel for smoother motion in competitive titles. The 6-core 7535HS with 4.60GHz max turbo frequency lifts CPU-bound scenes and multitasking over dual-core or quad-core predecessors. The jump is worth it when you need consistent 1080p frame rates and fast storage without stepping to a larger chassis.

Sustained load behaviour on 144Hz panel

Under extended gaming sessions the 6-core processor maintains clocks near its 3.30GHz base while the dedicated GPU drives the 15.6-inch 1920 x 1080 display at up to 144Hz. The 1TB PCIe SSD keeps asset streaming steady and the Wi-Fi 6 connection remains stable during long matches. Thermals are managed within the 0.93-inch profile so performance does not throttle sharply after the initial burst.
