2 GB Flash-Backed Cache Module
The HPE 587324-001 adds two gigabytes of flash-backed write cache to a Smart Array controller. It is intended for administrators who need to protect in-flight write data during unexpected power loss on supported RAID adapters.
Fits P410 and P410i controllers
The module installs directly onto the compatible Smart Array card and requires an available cache slot on that controller. It frees the host system from relying on battery-backed memory for write-cache persistence.
Low-profile physical design
Measuring 2.2 by 4.2 by 6.2 inches the module sits inside the server chassis without additional power cables. Flash-backed operation eliminates battery maintenance and reduces heat output compared with older battery-backed cache units.
