Adds 32 GB of DDR4 load-reduced ECC memory at 2133 MT/s for compatible HPE servers
This 32 GB DDR4 load-reduced DIMM operates at 2133 MT/s and carries ECC and registered features for data integrity. It is built for HPE Gen9 and Gen10 Plus V2 servers including the DL360, DL325, DL345, DL365, DL380, DL385, DL560 and DL580. The single-module design lets administrators add capacity in precise increments.
Load-reduced architecture reduces electrical load on the memory bus, helping to keep power draw per module lower than standard quad-rank alternatives. Registered buffering and ECC operate without adding audible noise because the module has no moving parts. Thermal output scales with total installed capacity and system airflow rather than this specific part.
This module replaces smaller DDR4 LRDIMMs or non-ECC UDIMMs when the platform requires registered ECC memory and higher density per slot. The jump is worthwhile when the server board supports quad-rank load-reduced DIMMs and the workload needs more memory channels populated without exceeding the memory-controller rank limit. It is not for systems that accept only unbuffered non-ECC memory or that lack DDR4-2133 support.

Align the notch with the slot key, press firmly until both latches click, then verify the module sits flush; the step often missed is running the server BIOS memory configuration utility so the system recognises the 32 GB capacity at 2133 MT/s.
The module itself has no moving parts and requires no scheduled maintenance; replacement is only needed if a memory test reports uncorrectable ECC errors or if a future server upgrade demands a different DDR4 speed or rank configuration.
The DDR4-2133 bus speed and quad-rank organisation set the bandwidth ceiling; sustained workloads will hit the 2133 MT/s data-rate limit before thermal or capacity constraints become a factor.
