It provides 48 Fast Ethernet ports for desktop endpoints plus two additional Gigabit copper ports and two SFP uplink slots for aggregation. The unit can be installed in a rack, on a wall or on a desktop.

Fast Ethernet access with Gigabit uplinks

The 48 primary ports operate at 10/100 Mbps, which limits each connected device to Fast Ethernet speeds. Two dedicated 10/100/1000 copper ports and two SFP slots provide Gigabit uplink paths, but the access layer itself remains constrained to 100 Mbps per port.

48 access ports and dual uplink flexibility

The switch comfortably handles up to 48 wired endpoints such as IP phones, printers or legacy workstations while using the Gigabit uplinks to prevent backbone congestion.
