Aruba 6300M fan tray JL669A

The HPE Aruba 6300M fan tray JL669A is a direct replacement cooling module for Aruba 6300M series switches. It maintains proper airflow through the chassis so the switch operates within its thermal limits. Network administrators responsible for uptime in wiring closets or data-centre racks use this part to keep ports and ASICs cool.

Replacing a failed or noisy fan tray

Swap the tray when the original unit develops bearing noise, reports a fault LED or stops spinning altogether. The jump is worth it when a single failed fan risks thermal throttling or an unexpected reboot during production hours. Buyers who need redundant power supplies or additional uplink modules should verify chassis compatibility before ordering.

Questions about this item

Will the JL669A fan tray fit in my Aruba 6300M switch chassis?

The JL669A is designed specifically for the Aruba 6300M series, matching the exact slot dimensions and airflow path of that chassis.

What is the correct way to seat the fan tray during installation?

Slide the tray straight in until the latch clicks; forcing it at an angle bends the connector pins and prevents the switch from detecting the fan.
