SAS drive bay and controller limits

Only two 2.5-inch drive bays are available so raw capacity tops out at 600 GB with the supplied drives. The Smart Array P204i-b SR controller handles RAID 0 and 1 only; parity RAID levels are not supported. Network connectivity relies on the installed FlexFabric 20 Gb two-port adapter.

Tool-less blade insertion and common pitfalls

The blade slides into the enclosure without tools once the enclosure firmware is current. A frequent issue is a version mismatch between the blade iLO 5 firmware and the Onboard Administrator causing the health LED to stay amber. Always update both sides before the first boot.
