Smart Array P204i-b with dual 1.8 TB SAS drives

The onboard Smart Array P204i-b SR controller manages two 2.5-inch 1.8 TB SAS hard drives in hardware RAID 0 or 1. FlexFabric 20 Gb dual-port adapter provides converged network and storage connectivity through the enclosure midplane. Hot-plug drive carriers allow replacement without shutting down the blade or the surrounding chassis.

Enclosure-cooled thermal design

Cooling is supplied by the shared enclosure fans, so the blade has no internal fan assembly and adds minimal acoustic load to the rack. Dual 4112 CPUs draw moderate power under typical virtualisation loads, leaving headroom in a fully populated chassis. iLO health monitoring reports inlet temperature and power consumption in real time for capacity planning.
