HPE EG1200JETKC 1.2TB SAS Drive

This HPE EG1200JETKC is a 1.2TB internal hard drive spinning at 10000RPM with a 12Gbps SAS interface. It uses a 2.5 inch form factor and ships with a SMART CARRIER caddy for hot-swap installation. The drive is new and intended for server and storage array environments.

Ideal for SAS hot-swap bays

The drive suits administrators expanding capacity in compatible HPE ProLiant or storage systems that accept 2.5 inch SAS hot-swap trays. It is not for buyers whose chassis lack a 12Gbps SAS backplane or hot-swap caddy support, nor for workloads that require a different interface or larger physical format.

12Gbps SAS interface decides fit

The single specification that determines compatibility is the 12Gbps SAS interface paired with the 2.5 inch hot-swap carrier. Verify that your controller and backplane support this exact interface and tray type before purchase.
