8-Port 10GBase-T v2 zl Module

The HPE J9546A is an expansion module that adds eight RJ-45 ports for 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. It is designed for data networking environments that require medium-distance links up to 100 metres over twisted-pair cabling. The module fits compatible HPE zl-series chassis to increase port density without transceivers.

Upgrading from 1 GbE uplinks

This module replaces slower copper uplinks or SFP+ configurations that need separate optics and patch cables. The jump is worthwhile when you can reuse existing Cat6a or Cat7 structured cabling for 10G speeds.
